Bradley Horowitz, Google+'s VP of product (read Boss) explains why it's a network that is more socially switched on and pertinent than FB - and I agree. Aside from the brilliant integrated nature of the product with Search, Video Conferencing (Hangouts) and a plethora of other tools that really help multi-sited SME's it has no advertising!
